As an aside:
SQL (Programming Language) supports constants:
DECLARE MyConst Char(1) Constant 'A';
And SQL (Programming Lanugage) supports Copy Members:
1. Includes SQL Source Code
INCLUDE SQL SrcLib/SrcFile(Member);
INCLUDE SQL SrcFile(Member);
INCLUDE SQL Member;
INCLUDE SQL '/dir1/dir2/.../Source.sql';
2. INCLUDE (without SQL) - C code can be included

You'd have to translate and put the & in front of every variable.
CL supports INCLUDE
