The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Im stil getting the a6005008 code. Here is the codes when selecting 12 & 13 from control panel:
12
04b08061e2c00001
0000000009999999
13
50010a0300000000
0000000000000000
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/POWER5/iphaf_p5/sa41517104.pdf?view=kc
Read all of section 7. They aren't kidding about the power cables.
You could also try
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/POWER5/iphc5/9405_520_landing.htm
but "Cabling the system" is a broken link.
And "Managing the Operations Console" may as well have shown a picture of
a cheerleader for all the good that link does you. It's as bad as
documentation which says "My boss said I have to put some comments here."

know ip address for lan console or ethernet line Sent by: "MIDRANGE-L"
<midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Ok, ive been working on this and have
a question. The iseries is a 9405-520. Im on the section marked "Set the
console adapter location". Im not sure where it is. The two options i
have are " Internal HEA port T1" and "external PCI card". Looking at the
back of the iseries i see its plugged into the T5 location. Im guessing
thats the HEA port. Am i wrong? The second option external PCI card
asked for "location code". Im not sure what that is. On 3/15/2017 3:10

I am reading that you should be able to do a "console service function
(65+21)" to check your lan console IP address on the box.

May not be totally thorough but it's a start.
