The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

You will need to read the RAW data from the spool file entry.
I have used this method for years to shuttle PDF files through output queues simply using a *USERASCII spool file entry as a vessel to carry the data.
HelpSystems/RJS still offers a RAW spool file converter command called CPYSPLRAW if you're open to commercial options.
Allows you to pull the data to the IFS and then you can copy the stream file from IFS to a PF with standard IBMi commands.
If you reach out to our sales team, tell them you need to demo our Native Reports Converters and the CPYSPLRAW command.

subject: Re: Need to copy *USERASCII spool file into a PF.
Hi Vern,
My Client came back again to resolve this issue.
We are using version V7R2M0.
I have used below command but it is giving me an error CPF3429 (File MMLABELD number 1 cannot be displayed, copied, or sent)
When i looked at IBM site they said it can not be done using CPYSPLF. The only way we can achieve this is, copy the spool file using Iseries Navigator to PC then FTP the file back to PF in AS400 but unfortunately this does not help me because we have to do this whole process in CL program.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in Advance.
Thanks,
Nirvan Chakravarthi
