Yes, our MAILTOOL (with MAILTOOL Plus) software can rid you of the PC

proxy

for sending email. It is totally independent of the IBM i SMTP/MSF

service

in this case. And only about $580 a year per partition. That's it.

And the issue is - will ESEND be able to use what is in MAILTOOL Plus
instead of the IBM i/SMTP service. My guess is not.

Jeff, no, not without them doing some updates on their end. i'd be happy
to work with them if they wanted to add the functionality, though.
