Aaron, I think it would help if you were to explain what you mean by
"plugin", because you used the term initially in reference to npm (the
Node.js Package Manager), then suggested afterwards to "think more like
chrome extensions", which is confusing to me.
The term "plugin" is used in multiple contexts within npm, none of which as
far as I can tell have much if any similarity to browser extensions. I may
be missing something.
At first, I wondered if by "plugin", you might be referring to npm packages
(aka Node.js modules). But, as you can see, I may just be confused.
