The problem was between the keyboard and chair. :-) Daily onsite tapes
stay in our tape vault one day. So, I set the duration on the daily vault
move policy to one day. I thought it would start counting when the tape
movements were run. The tape from the LPAR that was getting moved to *HOME
instead of to DAILY_VLT was created before midnight. And, the movements
were being run the following morning. BRMS was treating the tape as being
already at the one day mark. I've switched to file group based movements
and am using *GRP001 to keep one generation of daily onsite tapes in the
onsite tape vault.
