Nope...there didn't used to be CHGJRNOBJ, but the online help...

"The Change Journaled Object (CHGJRNOBJ) command changes the
journaling attributes of a journaled object without the need to end
and restart journaling for the object.

The command can be used to change the Images (IMAGES) value for a
database file (*FILE) or a data area (*DTAARA) object without the
need to end and restart journaling for the object."

Methinks there is a difference between CHGJRNOBJ and the STRJRNPF /
ENDJRNPF combo.
You may have to ENDJRNPF and then STRJRNPF and pick just the after images
then. There is no CHGJRNPF command.

The 'obj' one is for non database objects, like programs, user profiles
and that genre.

Subject: CHGJRNOBJ on Journaled File
Sent by: "MIDRANGE-L" <midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

I need to change the *IMAGES attribute on a file that is being journaled
with *AFTER only.
So, I try to use the following command...
CHGJRNOBJ OBJ((Library/JrnldFile *FILE)) ATR(*IMAGES) IMAGES(*BOTH)
and I get the 'Object JRNLDFILE is not currently journaled' message.
But, I can clearly see, using the DSPFD command, that the file is in
fact being journaled.

Any ideas?
