The OVRDBF FILE(D001STMTM1) TOFILE(UPPENWORK/D001STMTM1) MBR(DAC0008) worked.
I will try the Alias next.

Well, IBM shareholders would like you to purchase "DB2 Multisystem" At the cost of that product, even spread out amongst all shareholders, they can tell. <sarcasm intended>

Failing that, I believe you still have to do one of two things:
One: OVRDBF. Yes, this can be put into Run SQL Scripts with the CL option.
Two: CREATE ALIAS. Look that up. You'll figure that out.

I've gotten out of the habit of using *SYS naming and have gone more to *SQL naming. Namely because I tend to prefer the dotted naming vs the slash naming. That, and when you do inter system stuff systemname.library.table makes more sense. Granted, there are library list considerations...

How do I add the member name to an SQL request for multi membered PF?

SELECT 'UPPENwork' as Lib, 'D001STMTM1' as File, GOBGT1, count(*)
as Count FROM UPpenwork/D001STMTM1 GROUP BY GOBGT1 ORDER BY GOBGT1

Thank You
