From what I understand it should retry every 30 minutes until 24 retrieshave been done. I can't promise it works correctly, though. Never been a
We relay outgoing email from the IBM i through a Windows server. Yesterday
afternoon that Windows server crashed. I did a CHGSMTPA to relay through
my workstation instead, but by the time I got that done there were 20 or so
emails that failed. Took about 20 minutes to make that switch.
In CHGSMTPA I have RTYMIN(24 30). Once I got the relay set up on my
workstation, shouldn't it retry 24 times at 30 minute intervals? Or do I
not understand the parm correctly?
I also note that I have it RTYRMTSVR(*NO). Is that preventing retries?
