Well, I could use WRKLNK '/QNTC/thislpar/*' which is like mapped network
drive.
But, I am having problems trying a mapped drive from my PC. I'll have to
look at that.

You didn't specify what kind of DDM file so I used this
CRTDDMF FILE(QTEMP/RCO) RMTFILE(ERPLXF/RCO) RMTLOCNAME(gdi *IP)
instead of the SNA defaults.
I was then able to successfully use
dsppfm qtemp/rco
and
SBMRMTCMD CMD('dspfd erplxf/rco output(*print)') DDMFILE(QTEMP/RCO)

I don't want to mess with SNA just to try stuff I see no purpose for. Like
why use STRPASTHR when you have TELNET?
SAVRST* is a different story but I don't want to set SNA back up for that
either.

Good suggestions though. You helped me decide I need to look at the
mapped drive thing.
