Think of it like this. There used to be areas in user profiles on IBM i
which were normally not accessible. For example, if you wanted to reset
someone's access to NetServer you would simply run
CHGUSRPRF USRPRF(...)
with no other parameters and it would reset their NetServer access. Now,
at some release of the OS and some PTF level, you have to get more
specific.
Perhaps changing the password in DCM is comparable? It just fixes
something internally?
