× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Another alternative is to slip the lic and OS and then just customize what
needs to be done.
The steps to do this are clearly outlined.
Basically you're following the same steps many of us used when upgrading
from V5R4M0 to V5R4M5 and 6.1.0 to 6.1.1 and those who participate in
IBM's Early Ship program have to do to replace beta code with GA code.

Follow this:
Replacing Licensed Internal Code and IBM i of the same version and release
in the Knowledge Center.
http://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/ssw_ibm_i_73/rzahc/upgradesameversion.htm?lang=en
You should be able to change 73 in the url above to your release.

See also the following:
http://www-947.ibm.com/systems/support/i/planning/resave/index.html

Make sure you have the most recent resave for your release. You should be
able to download a new resave from ESS
https://www-05.ibm.com/servers/eserver/ess/OpenServlet.wss

You will have to reapply the latest cume an groups.

This alternative is probably your best bet. It also requires no trust
factor against people on this list.
