If you check an IFS file out, no updates are allowed to that file until you
check it back in. I don't think it will back up either.
I don't think I've ever seen it used, except by mistake.

What does it mean to 'check out' and to 'check in' and IFS object.
I can see in the documentation that these are actions to be taken, but I do
not see a description of what these actions actually do.
Does this is anyway have anything to do with why I cannot seem to edit a
file in the IFS that everyone has full authority to?
