I recall you saying that you use Aldon. If used properly, Aldon maintains a
create dependency database. If you have the need to modify a file, simply
check out the file to your developer, and F16 will let you also check out
all the dependent objects.

The whole concept is to prevent those nasty level checks in production.

where a file is in use in a program. I run Find string using option 25 on

name,read all the libraries in our system, do this '25' on them. Do I read
a file in QSYS to get this?

then I would need the command to do the option 25.
