Has that changed from V7R1 to V7R2?
From http://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/ssw_ibm_i_72/rzajq/rzajqudfdisplayjournal.htm?lang=en
Shows this as an example.

Select all entries from the *CURRENT receiver of journal TESTLIB/QSQJRN.

SELECT * FROM TABLE (
DISPLAY_JOURNAL( 'TESTLIB', 'QSQJRN')) AS JT;

I can't seem to find a reference to this in the 7.1 knowledge center.

Not enough parms...

select * from table (
*Display_Journal*(
'MJATST', 'QSQJRN', -- Journal library and name '', '', -- Receiver library and name CAST(null as TIMESTAMP), -- Starting timestamp CAST(null as DECIMAL(21,0)), -- Starting sequence number '', -- Journal codes '', -- Journal entries '','','','', -- Object library, Object name, Object type, Object member '', -- User '', -- Job '' -- Program

) ) as x;

Thought I would give this a try to look at QAUDJRN.
Select * from table( QSYS2.DISPLAY_JOURNAL('QSYS', 'QAUDJRN')) as AJ

I'm getting a DIPSLAY_JOURNAL IN QSYS2 type *N not found.

I'm on V7R1 with TR11 installed.

Any idea what I might be missing?

Thanks

mike

Then again, there's always another way.

SELECT journal_code, journal_entry_type, object, object_type, X.* FROM
TABLE (
QSYS2.Display_Journal(
'#MXJRN', 'BPCS_ALL',
OBJECT_LIBRARY=>'ERPLXF', OBJECT_NAME=>'IIM',
OBJECT_OBJTYPE=>'*FILE', OBJECT_MEMBER=>'IIM'
) ) AS X
ORDER BY entry_timestamp DESC

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/ssw_ibm_i_72/rzajq/rzajq
udfdisplayjournal.htm?lang=en

The trick is converting ENTRY_DATA from a blob to something useful and
parsing it out. This helps with the conversion:
SELECT journal_code, journal_entry_type, object, object_type,
cast(entry_data as char(12000)),X.* FROM TABLE (
QSYS2.Display_Journal(
'#MXJRN', 'BPCS_ALL',
OBJECT_LIBRARY=>'ERPLXF', OBJECT_NAME=>'IIM',
OBJECT_OBJTYPE=>'*FILE', OBJECT_MEMBER=>'IIM'
) ) AS X
ORDER BY entry_timestamp DESC
