Can you check the physical printer to see if there is a status message there?You may need to end the writer, shut down the physical printer, then power on the printer, then restart the writer.

it has recent spools from shipping users.
option 9, writers shows this:
JFPIPEED RMT JFPIPEED QUSRSYS STR *ALL
But nothing prints. all spools come there HELD, I make sure to
SAVE *YES after printing, release them, it shows 'snd' for a brief second
but nothing is printing.
Is there any message I might see or how to understand
why it's not printing.
