Thanks Rob,
I do see these when prompting in CPYAUDJRNE
I did not realize IBM was not enhancing DSPAUDJRNE.
I will check out the link you provided

How do you define "I don't see available on my system"?
What determines the availability of the code?

For example, don't look for it in DSPAUDJRNE. Maybe on CPYAUDJRNE instead.
<snip>
Note: IBM(r) has stopped providing enhancements for the DSPAUDJRNE command.
The command does not support all security audit record types, and the command does not list all the fields for the records it supports.

I am doing some research on audit journals and as a result was looking at
all the available audit journal type codes.
This document lists all that are available
https://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/ssw_ibm_i_71/rzarl/rzarlf04.htm

but there are several that I don't see available on my system. I am a
V7R1
I think the one I'm interested in is CY(although I'm not positive of that)
It may be 'U' because I'm trying to see data based on a vendor product.

My real question is why I don't see these as available on my system?

This is what I have defined in SYSVAL QAUDLVL
*AUTFAIL
*NETCMN
*PGMFAIL
*SAVRST
*SECURITY
*SYSMGT
*ATNEVT
