I understand this Jim. I try to explain that I want to omit files from my
stream file backups and everyone keeps telling me that if I check for
object locks on some particular objects in the /qsys.lib file system that
I can find the locking jobs. I have zero interesting in finding the
locking jobs, killing them, and then saving those stream files. I just
want to omit the stream files that are locked by this process.
I think I figured it out. Since I added the omit I no longer find myself
having issues with ldap on IBM i.
