The 5250 Emulator stuff seems to work just fine for that purpose. I am
trying to get the console connection working. Every time I try that, I
get a 5250 display showing but it shows some status information and then
just fails.
Hint: It may be trying to do a console takeover. The first line reads
"Take over the console .... NO". But I would like to do that. For some
reason, the default console does not work on this server.
Just making sure,
You're not using "General / 5250 Emulator"
You're not using "Management / 5250 Session Manager"
But, instead, you're using "Console / 5250 Console", right?
And, do not try to change your console from 24x80. Doing so will probably
change you from 3179 to 3477.
