I listened to an all hands IT conference call the other day. One of the big
bosses announced in initiative to replace the RPG application software
programs with Java programs.
His mindset is that RPG programmers are hard to find. My first thought was,
"Maybe in your homeland, but not here."

I've tried weird stuff.
WONDERFUL 2.0 is not supposed to run here huh? Well, let's just try it.
And have it blow up on Java stuff.
Had this happen on WONDERFUL 'a' on IBM i 'x'
and again on WONDERFUL 'b' on IBM i 'y'
Actually, most of it worked. Just crapped out on the Java stuff.
They put some verification in it that you were running a particular java.
And if you weren't then forget you. (or something like that).
