After a quick review of the replies, at least one seemed to mention an API to get a list jobs\entries on a Job Queue (JOBQ). However I did not see any replies that mention the use of the request to CHGJOB JOBQ(jobqlib/jobqname) to reroute a job [that still resides on a job queue] to different job queue that is associated with another Subsystem Description (SBSD) and its associated [preferably] active Subsystem (SBS). If the batch job is no longer waiting on the job queue, the Change Job (CHGJOB) request would fail generically with the specific previously-logged diagnostic error message CPF1339 "Job queue not changed. Job &3/&2/&1 not on job queue."; other failures may be possible, and able to be ignored, conspicuously the error suggesting the /job number not found/ for a job that has run to completion since first being located via the list-API.
