YEAH! I remember those! Remember the Mona Lisa's they could print?
I was just an operator back then but I remember trying to dissect all those hex characters and overprinting to figure how it was done.
And, yes, they had Star Spangled Banner and other songs that the print chain could sound out, as long as you removed the print ribbon.
