Sure I'll do the presentation. I have many customers running PowerHA. In
fact I'm going to Phoenix tomorrow to install and do a switch test for a
customer over the weekend.

Subject: RE: Power HA

I probably need to go to a presentation or two on Power HA. I have
questions like, In Mimix I have GDIHQ1, GDIHQ2 with GDIHQ1 being primary.
When it comes time to do an OS upgrade I upgrade GDIHQ2 first. Then I do a
Mimix switch from GDIHQ1 to GDIHQ2. I then do the OS upgrade on GDIHQ1.
When done, I switch back from GDIHQ2 to GDIHQ1. I've been through several
of these and it works well for us. Someone once tried to explain this to me
but it has slipped my mind.

We also only perform tape operations on GDIHQ1 once a quarter. In between
times we don't even keep tape in the same city. We do our nightly backups
on GDIHQ2.

Anyone willing to present Power HA at our local user group? IDK how much of
that crowd would be in that market. We're not the biggest LUG on the
planet.
