We did have the CPF0907 "Serious storage condition may exist." as noted by
N1019460.
Caused by the save of a library on another machine to save file, ftp'd
over and restored. Space was brought back down by the clearing of that
save file (and some other general maintenance).

IDK if this fragmentation may have been exacerbated by the addition of
four "140GB" disk drives since the last IPL. At various times. This is a
guest lpar and the disks are storage spaces on the host lpar. As the
"disks" were added it was with "add and balance". Toss in a STRASPBAL or
two.

I may try the STRDSKRGZ mentioned in the technote. I don't recall ever
having ran that command. Sounds almost like defragging a PC hard drive to
me. "Last used date" is blank.
What the hey, it will just affect our development lpar...
