You could accomplish this by creating seven (7) custom sign-on screens, e.g. QDSIGNON1 to QDSIGNON7, one for each day of the week ... then you customize each one with different colors, etc. -- then, you have a job scheduler entry to run once a day, say just after midnight, to end the interactive subsystem and restart the subsystem with the appropriate QDSIGNONx for that day. You would not even need to write any programs, if you just add seven different jobs to the job scheduler, one for each day of the week.
