As an additional note. Not only is the EJ0P controller for the Power8
machines but the 822 redbook says this:

The IBM Easy Tier function is provided with the dual IOA. This function is
implemented within the integrated Power Systems SAS c ontrollers, the
integr ated SAS bays, and, optionally, in an EXP24S I/O drawer. Hot data is
automatically moved to an SSD, and cold data is automatically moved to an

Which would mean no EasyTier on native IBM i (or did they forget about i
again?). But since they worked out the bugs in VIOS-file-backed-storage,
maybe it'll be worth it to use VIOS only for that feature?

Does this mean that I can implement Easy Tier on my Power7 (8202) internal
disk drives?
