Rob,

I'm sure that other people can explain this better than I, but the point is
that when you run/execute Qshell it has its own enviroment and therefore
its own QTEMP . Your QTEMP is not the same as the QSHELL's job.

Hope this makes sense. Scott K, explained it a lot better some time ago.
