https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linear_Tape-Open

"*Linear Tape-Open* (or *LTO*) is a magnetic tape data storage
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnetic_tape_data_storage> technology
originally developed in the late 1990s as an open standards
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_standard> alternative to the
proprietary magnetic tape formats that were available at the time.
Hewlett-Packard <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hewlett-Packard>, IBM
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IBM> and Seagate
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seagate_Technology> initiated the *LTO
Consortium*, which directs development and manages licensing and
certification of media and mechanism manufacturers. Seagate's tape division
was spun-off as Certance <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Certance> and is
now part of Quantum Corporation
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_Corporation>."

We use a mixture of TDK and IBM...

My pc guys are suggesting a brand from a company called QUANTUM, available
at Provantage and they are about $462 ($85 less) than the FUJI ($547).
Anyone using the QUANTUM cartridges or have others brands to suggest?
