Sometimes I like it on official IBM media and not something burned to
media from a download. If you've ever been in a crunch and had IBM on the
phone when you're doing this and the first thing IBM suspects is that you
didn't burn it right.
Customer: "I'm getting a message that the console isn't there when I IPL"
IBM: "Try an IBM generated disk instead"
Customer: "I'm getting a message that a PTF didn't apply right"
IBM: "Try an IBM generated disk instead"
Customer: "There's smoke coming out the back of the unit and the room
temperature is rising"
IBM: "Try an IBM generated disk instead"
Customer: "The install failed because of my database cross reference
files are corrupt"
IBM: "What resave level is printed on the disk right under..."?

You should be able to get it via Entitled Software Support presuming you
have access to that.
Under "Software Downloads" you can download the operating system including
the latest LIC image.
If you don't have access to this you may have to ask the BP to authorise
you to it. You will need to have an IBM ID and provide the email address
of
that ID to your BP.
They can add/update you through Manage Customer Numbers->Manage
Auithorizations
I guess they would to give you access to Electronic Software Delivery

Is there a way to order the resave on media without having to involveyour
BP? I've no problem with our BP, I just sometimes like the ease oflist
ordering stuff online.
