columns allow you to CAST them. The screen goes into something like:

normalCharacterColumn,
normalNumericColumn,
/* datalinkorclobColumn */,
...
I change that one line to
CAST (datalinkorclobColumn as char (128)) as datalinkorclobColumnChar,
...
Now, if it just didn't error out and hang... Oh well, now I am up to
10 open pmr's. Of which one could be career threatening.

So, is it just a bad trip to think that 'DB2 Control Center' is a
possible solution?
