SysAdmin installed/applied some cume or another last night, says he had to IPL twice, and called me to tell me "TR7 is all set". I just ran the SQL and it shows
"Technology Refresh"
MF99006

Are we lacking something still? If so, What do I need to tell him he needs next?
(I've been away from admin duties for many years, so groups/hypers/cumes, have become very fuzzy concepts to me)

Thanks.

Check out SF99707 with the WRKPTFGRP command and that is your TR level.
We are at level '6'.

So, mine says "MF99005". Is that TR5?

Most all know TR7 was released last Friday.

With some of the new SQL tables I found a quick way to show the TR you
are on.

SELECT max(PTF_IDENTIFIER) as "Technology Refresh" FROM QSYS2.PTF_INFO
WHERE PTF_TECHNOLOGY_REFRESH_PTF = 'YES' and LOADSTAT = 'PERMANENTLY
APPLIED'
