Subject: Slip install of 7.1 LIC and OS - Any gotcha's?

OK,

Per prior recommendation of from the list
http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l/201306/msg00515.html

In order to catch up on PTFs on a 7.1 system, I'm planning a slip install
of the lic and OS following the process documented here:

http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v7r1m0/topic/rzahc/upgradesameversion.htm

Any gotcha's I need to be concerned about?

One specific question, do I need to worry about the service processor
and/or it's firmware/microcode?

The system in question is a 9407-515, single partition running LAN console.
Also has a couple and iSCSI attached xSeries systems both running Win2003
Server (1 Web Edition and 1 R2 Standard)

Thanks!
Charles
