The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Thanks for everyone's input, I found a solution.

I am scanning source, using PDM, option 25, (find string). Results are created in a spoolfile.
I need the results in an out file.
Is there an out file option, if not, is there a different utility to scan source, dump results to an out file.
Maybe too out of the box?
crtpf buck/scan rcdlen(256)
qsh
grep -il begsr /qsys.lib/buck.lib/qrpglesrc.file/* > /qsys.lib/buck.lib/scan.file/scan.mbr
This will search all the members in my QRPGLESRC for 'BEGSR' and put the list in a PF named SCAN. It'll show the entire 'path'. You could avoid that by something like
qsh
cd /qsys.lib/buck.lib/qrpglesrc.file
grep -il begsr * > /qsys.lib/buck.lib/scan.file/scan.mbr
Maybe someone can flesh this out better.
