So far as I know, we haven't yet actually used the 5619 drive on our E4A (V6R1).

We don't yet have any blank media for it (either we've just ordered some, or are about to do so). We just have the test and cleaning cartridges that came with the system. And we'd like to verify as much as we can about it being in working order.

And I'm having trouble finding instructions on what to do with the test cartridge.

So far, I've only verified that the test tape mounts (earlier this morning, the drive vomited when I inserted a blank tape that was evidently the wrong kind, "something-120," and I had to reset the drive to clear the media-fault light), and as I type this, I'm looking at my second DSPTAP of the test tape, which seems to have a dozen files with names like "IDETAPXR.EXERDATA," none of which show any detail with a DSPTAP *SAVRST)
