The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
For grins, try using iNav instead of SST. Kind of cool to
Configuration and Service,
Hardware
Disk Units
and right click on All Disk Units and select Graphical View.
Find an empty slot on the graphic, click on it and start the disk install
process.
Best be current on service packs with your iNav. Every time IBM comes out
with a new storage rack they never get this right. Oh, they may have
added a graphic for the new unit but they ALWAYS get the dots and dashes
wrong. Obvious they never actually try adding a disk drive using this. I
try, report the issue, and use SST. Then I can use iNav after the next
fix pack. Hey, if the lab doesn't have the money for adding a disk drive
but they have the new unit, they can always try and abort about the time
you'd get the message to shove in the drive and it starts flashing the
lights.
