RE: CPDB053 accessing QNTC subfolder

fixed

Since you're swapping with *NOPWD, I wonder if anyone can confirm that the PASSWORDS on the two accounts are identical. I've also seen cases where the NTLM hash needs to be fixed on a profile by secadmin using CHGUSRPRF PASSWORD() to force an update to the authentication hash(s) stored with the profile... There were some PTF's to enable minimal support of NTLMv2 hash, I think, but I get really confused by the whole CIFS/NTLMv2 conflict anyway... Perhaps someone else can elaborate on this...

Sorry, I should have mentioned... class 1, error code 5.

I'm running under the same user profiles on both systems, which should have the same authorities.
I call under the same profiles, and then, before accessing QNTC the program "swaps" to a user profile (SWAPUSRPRF password *NOPWD) that was specifically set up on both systems to access QNTC.

RE: CPDB053 accessing QNTC subfolder

Charlie,
Is your program running with the same/appropriate authority on both systems?
Also, you did not say what the error class and code are . . .
