The file was not opened. The reason code is  &6. The reason code and their meanings are as follows.
 
 
06 The file does not have any members
 
 
Recovery  
 
Add a member (ADDLFM or ADDPFM Command) or change the file name, the library name, or the member name with an 
Override Database File (OVRDBF) Command.
 
 
So should go and tell the programer the above Recovery suggestion.

First, when the job is running look at the joblog.  Some simple steps:
GO TECHHELP
1. Display messages for the system operator
position to message
Press F1
F9=Display message details
From job . . . . . . . . . . . :  MYJOB
  User . . . . . . . . . . . . :    MYUSERID
  Number . . . . . . . . . . . :    985827
Then, from a command line, do:
DSPJOBLOG JOB(985827/MYUSERID/MYJOB)
You should see the message CPF4102 in full context.
To see it out of context you can do
DSPMSGD CPF4102
File &2 in library &3 with member &4 not found
Basically, you're missing one of these three
- a member within a file
- the whole file itself
- the whole library
How to resolve this will depend on your application developer.
