There are many reasons for needing to be able to change the time on a job.
1. Mine is I need to test functionality that is time dependent. I am
not the only person on the system so I cannot change the system time.
2. For companies working across multiple states, regions and
countries, users would need to see their time as the time in their time
zone. There is no time zone specific parameter for CHGJOB.
3. If you area developing new code, you can build in functionality to
handle different time zones, but nothing for testing time functions.
4. Most code out there cannot be modified easily or quickly. The
solution for these applications is to reset the job's time.
