I've had the same problem, though not with IBM's product. I have an
offset in the DDS and change the overlay position (slightly) depending
on whether the output is destined for PDF or for print.

Pat,
I too am having that problem.
I was told it had to do with "unprintable area" around the document.
We wound up giving up and we have two overlays, one for direct printing,
and one for PDF output.

I have started testing the PDF generation feature on V7R1 and ran several
tests with various *scs print files and that works exactly as I would
expect.

I then ran a print job that is a *afpds with a full overlay.

Either the print or the overlay has "shifted" both vertical and horizontal
by what looks like a line or two.

Anybody have any ideas on what is causing the shift ????

The overlay print job prints just fine going to a printer.
