No, it uses smtp commands. I talked with them and they said indicated that I should have a mail router in CHGSMTPA. I changed it to point to the new exchange server, but when I look at the SMTP journal its still sending to the old server.

Does esend have a ip/name you enter when you run it.

We are implementing a new Exchange server. Currently the old(192.168.0.17)
and the new(192.168.0.35) are running parallel.

We use ESEND to send emails(spool files etc) to users and this passes to
the exchange server.

I have looked at CHGSMTPA. We have Mail Router set to *NONE.

There is nothing in the Host file pointing to the mail server.

Yet it works, I just can't figure out how its pointing to the old exchange
server, or how to change it to the new exchange server.

Does this make sense? Any ideas?

Thanks
