I've done it both ways, but the docs say do it so I do it. I was talking to
someone in Rochester some time ago and they mentioned about a possible
conflict with installing a "net" or network based Help. Don't remember the
details.

If one permanently removes QHLPSYS from the library list, I assume command
help isn't available. OTOH, I have seen posts on this forum that state
QHLPSYS was NOT removed from QSYSLIBL during an upgrade and there were no
issues.
