I concur with the second library. I had to do basically the same thing
that Douglas is describing, although I didn't use a trigger.
I needed the trigger because I want to process them in real time. When the
last package in a shipment is scanned, I need to update the order with the
exact shipping charges and, depending on the customer preferences,
immediately print an invoice at the scale for attaching to the shipment.
(Some customers like that; some only want it mailed.) Without a trigger, I
didn't know how to get Worldship to invoke processing on the iSeries. But
this has been working for years...
