Roger,

I'm looking for a way to retrieve the maximum that are allowed in the library list. I can't just go by system version and release, since IBM provides a way to restrict it.

The max in a jobd or library list was raised from 25 to 250 (as of V5R1 I believe).

Are you looking for how to retrieve them or just the max allowed? There are API's for the retrieval.

Subject: How to retrieve max libs allowed in *LIBL

Is there an official (programmatic) way to retrieve how many
libraries are allowed in the *LIBL?
