I actually thought 5770WDS *was* the new stuff? It's name is "Rational
Development Studio", but they kept the old lpo name of "WDS" (which
originally stood for "WebSphere Development Studio")
Isn't 5770 the code for 7.1? (The 6.1 version would've been 5761-WDS,
right?)

I made a stab at trying to figure out the Rational Software web site

If a customer has a current license for 5770WDS, are they entitled to
a Rational product that replaces all the old stuff, or do they have to
purchase a new product ?
This stuff has been restructured, renamed, replaced and generally screwed
with so much that it is not very clear to me, just what the current
product is.
There does appear to be "several" versions of everything which makes it
even more confusing.
As an example, the last 2 sites that I upgraded to V7R1, both have had
WDS for years on all the prior releases, yet this time, IBM sent a pair
of DVD's labeled "Rational Developer for i" version 7.5.
I also found a another labeled "Team Concert for i Express Edition"
version 1.0.1.1 Trial.
Since IBM no longer sends any printed material with upgrades packages, I
would like
some vague idea of just what the hell these products are to be used for.
