xxxx-WDS is the compilers and green screen utilities like PDM, SEU etc. But
as you can see the *BASE product does call itself Rational... This should
not be confused with the Rational... stuff that runs on a PC and gives you
the GUI programming environment/tools. IBM did the same thing with the
'Rational...' product as they did with the 'Websphere...' product line.
Soon it will be Rational that all SW from IBM we be Websphere
:)

Since IBM no longer sends any printed material with upgrades packages, I

some vague idea of just what the hell these products are to be used for.
