It sounds like you have created an i partition hosted by IBM i. If so, I
think you may be looking for something like this:

Hello List!--
I currently have a logical i5OS partition running on a host i5OS. The two
partitions can communicate using the virtual Ethernet connection.
How do I configure the logical partition to communicate with the outside
network or my network to see the logical partition?
Thanks in advance and Happy New Year everyone!
Ian
