The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

It works fine. The only complaint I have run into is that the conversion
to PDF can take a considerable amount of time if processing a very large
(hunderds of pages) and very complex spool file. I know that IBM has been
made aware of it. Can't say for sure that there have been fixes for it.
It is very simple to use so I say just try it and see what happens. I
have had no problems with it personally for average reports or documents.

Direct creation of PDF's
I would like to hear any comments from folks that are using the "new"
feature
that allows you to create pdf's directly. I have seen the tech write up
on this
feature but have not gone through the process yet.

I understand this has been around since 6.1, but I don't really recall
anybody having any comments
about this.
I have a customer that really wants to use this "feature" and I have no
experience with it at all.
