Subject: Buying a used iSeries box
Hello, I've been out of the iSeries world for a few years now but have the
opportunity to get back in with a new project that I have. I'm looking to
buy a used iSeries box for my personal development. Things have changed so
much I hardly recognize the model numbers. I'm hoping someone might
recommend a configuration. The box is for development - RPG, C/C++, Java -
with just myself and perhaps another programmer working remotely. We don't
need huge amounts of DASD. Something reasonably up to date of course and
small enough to be practical in my home office. What would be my "Pinto"
and
my "Ferrari" options?
Thanks - it's good to be back - sort of.
