I haven't been following this thread closely, but check into using the
SNDTCPSPLF command if the device has LPR.

This is a good way to test LPR/LPD printing without any special setup on
the i.

Do WRKCFGSTS CFGTYPE(*DEV) CFGD(ZEBRA13)

The status should be ACTIVE/WRITER

If it's VARIED OFF, then do an option 1-Vary on.

If it's VARIED ON, then do STRPRTWTR ZEBRA13
