We are currently changing our 5250 screens for LOOK software.
We usually have our command keys documented on line 24 of 24 by 80 displays.
F3=End F5=Refresh.
LOOK converts this into buttons.
BUT, when you have an error message, line 24 is now taken over by the error
message, and LOOK does not see any command keys documented on line 24.
So when the page is displayed, it just has an OK button.
Our solution is to move the command key documentation to line 23 or have the
errors be output beside the input fields and do not use line 24 errors.
I guess we could also change the screens to all be 27 by 132 also, then we can
use the extra vertical line for the command key documentation.
Any other suggestions to make this easier?
Thanks!
