Did you try rebooting the printer? The printer can get in a compressed
print mode or set a default font running a print job from another
source. Normal spool file output from the i doesn't necessarily reset
it. Turning the printer off and back on again will sometimes fix it.
There's also a reset to factory defaults in the printer's configuration
menu that'll do it.

Also note that your 11 x 17 reports (132 characters wide) will use COR
(Computer Output Reduction) by default when printing to an 8.5 x 11
page. COR makes the font small and turns the page 90 degrees so your 132
characters fit inside 11 inches with some margins. There's a number of
ways to turn that off on the i depending on your setup.

Do you have HPT turned on?

Subject: Remote Outq Question

I have a customer that has an HP 4200N printer that we have setup to use
as a remote outq to print from the i. It works fine but is printing
really small. It is an IP attached printer. I have tried raw, text and
xaix for the RMTPRTQ and *HP4, *HP5 and *HP4000 for the MFRTYPMDL, but
the font stays the same. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Jon
